VPO = Volunteer Parent Organization

 As a parent, grandparent, family member or guardian of a student at Harbor Ridge Middle School, you are qualified to be a Volunteer Parent Organization (VPO) member, and there are no dues.

Your membership provides a vital role in strengthening our children’s school experience. There are many opportunities to become involved, from assisting with fundraisers, working in the student store, book fair, chaperoning at a dance, or assisting with staff appreciation events (just to name a few!). The VPO also serves as a liaison between the school, parents, and the community.

Having even a small presence in your child's school shows your kids how much you care about their schooling. Show your support by joining today. No matter how big or small a contribution is, there are many opportunities for help organizing the many extra's our students experience each year.  

ACTIVE PARENTS HELP CREATE STRONGER STUDENTS

As our students move into Middle School parent involvement is more of a challenge. We know kids aren't always excited to have parents around either! Studies have shown that having even a small presence shows your kids how much you care about their schooling. There are also many opportunities behind the scenes that help the VPO pull together the many extra's our students experience each year.
